Introduction

In 1887 a small group of believers met to pray and plan for the advancement of the gospel in New England. Out of this meeting a new organization was created to serve the local church: The Evangelistic Association of New England. From these humble beginnings a movement was born which continues to the present. Today our name is changed, but not our mission. Vision New England. We exist to help you fulfill the great commission.Vision New England seeks to be New England’s premier association of individuals, churches and organizations committed to go make disciples, do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with God. We desire to be a tangible expression of Jesus’ prayer for all his disciples found in John 17:20-21.

The Cross: VNE members proclaim the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Authority of Scripture: VNE members submit to the Bible as God’s authoritative word.

New Life in Christ: VNE members believe in the saving work of Christ, die to the old self, and commit to a new life in Christ.

Building God’s Kingdom: VNE members actively build the Kingdom of God when they go make disciples, do justice, love mercy and walk humbly before God.
